The Dueling Pistol. This native aluminum nugget (natural) was in perfect shape when I found it. It only had a fine layer of oxidation and mineral deposits on the surface. It cleaned up beautifully. The bubbles appear to be from gases since there were no inorganic salts present in the holes. If you collect old pistols then this will be hard to resist. The head of the nugget looks like the handle and the tail of the nugget looks like a blown off barrel. Very cool. XRF analysis shows 81% aluminum and 17% light elements (LE) with trace amounts of iron, chromium, copper, zinc, titanium, manganese, cadmium, hafnium, vanadium, antimony, tin, palladium, nickel and lead.
