This native aluminum nugget (natural) was heavily corroded from volcanic acid. It had embedded carbonaceous material in the hole suggesting contact with a twig or branch. Very difficult to clean but the result is a smooth yet complex specimen. XRF analysis shows 60% aluminum, 18% light elements (LE), 11% silicon, 6% copper and 3% zinc with trace amounts of iron, nickel, hafnium, lead, manganese, tungsten, chromium, tin, titanium, cadmium, antimony, bismuth, palladium and zirconium.
